The Reaver Boarding ship was a ship that was taken over by the Reavers.

To the eyes of most people the ship's class and capabilities are deemed old. The ship was equipped with a magnetic grappler which could render a ship disabled and ready for a boarding party to board the captured ship. It was Full burn capable and could reach a speed equal or even faster than that of a Firefly-class transport ship.

One such ship was encountered by the Serenity. The ship ignored the Serenity on first contact but later followed the ship to Whitefall later on. The Serenity was able to escape the ship by going to full burn in the Atmosphere, blowing the Boarding ship away and leaving it incapable of catching up.
