Pelorum is the first planet of the protostar Lux in the White Sun system. Discovered in 2040, S/2040(Lux)01 is known for its luxurious resort and fair weather conditions. The crew of Serenity stayed here while recovering from a heist.

Jayne Cobb and Temperance McCloud vacationed here some time when they were partners-in-crime.
