The Browncoat Scrip was the currency of the Independent Armies also known as Browncoats. First issued near the end of the war, the Scrip lacked a sound economic base and its market worth fluctuated wildly. The attached ration voucher was often worth more than the scrip itself.
The Scrip was issued in three value ratings worth 20, 50 and 100 scrip. The attached ration voucher was differentiated in A-, B- and C-Grade Voucher respectively.
