ProfitEdit

Profit pays the bills and peoples wages? No, profit is what is left after that. Geez, watch the Elmer Fudd cartoon.

Still, I believe I understand what you *meant* to say.Unsigned comment by 98.117.134.234 (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Edit

The Blue Sun logo used appears to be incorrect. The Chinese glyph on the left side of the logo pictured appears to be a variation on the character for "blue," the colour, as in:

lán

while the character on his shirt is actually different, being the character for "the colour of nature", translatable as blue or green:

qīng

Here's a screen-shot:

This is what SHOULD be listed at the logo:

There appear to be two versions of the logo used in the show.  On Jayne's shirt it uses qīng but on the holoimager it uses lán.  The other screen caps in the article either don't have the Chinese character or are too indistinct to make out.  It would be good to know where each version is used.  Could be there are two versions mixed and matched; maybe one or the other was used occasionally in error; or maybe Jayne's shirt is deliberately wrong as a sort of joke.
I remember in an early episode there's a huge Blue Sun logo on a shipping container, that should be one that's clearly identifiable. LewtonBus (talk) 10:12, July 7, 2017 (UTC)

Source of the nameEdit

Speculation: the company could be named after the song Blue Sun by Darling Violetta, which the band performed in the Buffy episode Faith, Hope & Trick.  Has anyone ever heard anything to support this? LewtonBus (talk) 16:47, July 7, 2017 (UTC)
